About Ananda Robie

Ananda Robie is an award winning graduate of Northern Arizona University with a degree in Electronic Media and Film and a minor in Graphic Design.

She currently works for NAU Television Services as the Producer/Videographer of The Score, a monthly half hour sports show that air on Fox Sports Arizona. Ananda also works as an independent videographer and video editor.

In Ananda's current job with NAU she has become very familiar with television broadcasting rules and regulations. She is required to wear many different hats and act as a 'One-Man-Band' for the show. Because of this Ananda is well versed in field production, post-production and lighting techniques and standards.

While a student at NAU, Ananda was the Director and Chief Videographer for NAZ Today, a live, four night a week, 30 minute newscast that goes out locally on NPG Cable and nationwide on Dish Network.

In addition to directing two live newscasts a week and acting as chief videographer, Ananda also regularly contributed to NAZ Today by acting as a backpack journalist where she shot, wrote, edited and fronted her own packages live on-air.

Ananda also has experience in video production. She acted as the chief editor and assistant producer for Be The Change, a promotional video that was created for Northern Arizona University's Social Work Program.

Ananda is truly passionate about pursuing a career in film production or news and would a valued addition to any company.

Her passion began during high school when she worked with a volunteer group building a chapel and two classrooms at an orphanage in Mexico. During her senior year she signed up for a Digital Media Arts class and made a fundraising video about the work being done at the orphanage. It was a life changing experience that introduced her to a new passion for film making. The video she produced in high school was used to raise thousands of dollars for the orphanage - more than all the previous fund raising efforts had ever raised. People's hearts were deeply touched by the video.
